It makes you feel like a physical object in the world and not just a camera mounted in the cab.If it was 100% realistic there wouldn't be as much walking, as you would radio one of your workmates to bring a vehicle to take you to the other end (especially for those 100 carriage consists)I appreciate that some ppl may not like it though, so maybe in future updates the option may be provided.I spoke briefly in a post to Matt P suggesting there should be an option and gave an extremely brief suggesttion how it might work. It makes you feel like a physical object in the world and not just a camera mounted in the cab. This was kind of what we were going for with the walking feature, we wanted people playing to feel like an actual person in the world as opposed to TS2017 where you are essentially playing as the train itself. It's all about the immersion! We'll take any feedback on how we can refine this however:)- JayMake it so we can drive those rail trucks. Like those CSX Pick up trucks that can drive on the rails, and along the rails, if we need to get to the other end of the train real quick, of course the truck would only be avalible in rail yards or, if tailed your train. A conductor is the boss of a train crew. The “conductor” title is most common in North America, but you can find it under different job titles all over the world. Railway conductor, conductor, railroad conductor, train guard being few of such examples.
Or personalizing a switchman (or caboose crew) to couple consists while assembling trains far from the engine as in the real world.Anyway, most part of your customers are asking for an automatic way to replace walking when switching or doing anything else while displacing, avoiding long and boring walking.
